Helping City Dogs Thrive Since 2016

This isn’t just a job for me- when your dog is with me, they are part of the family.

Hi there, I’m Joseph!

I’m Joseph and I can’t wait to meet you and your dog! After 21 years in sales and retail management, I’ve been lucky enough to reevaluate my career. I thought about what makes me passionate and happy and the first thing that came to my mind was caring for dogs! I’m excited to become your go-to sitter and walker.

You’ll always be in the loop

With daily text and photo updates, you can see for yourself how your pup is doing with the Dog Fam. Fair warning- I love to take creative photos of the dogs I’m sitting! If your dog is boarding, I’ll let you know what we have been up to in brief daily summary sent via text or email. On top of that, I’m readily available by phone, email, and text in case we need to be in touch.

A day in the life

There’s no such thing as a typical day when you’re hanging with the Dog Fam! But generally, our daily activities will look something like this:

7:00 AM

Doggy Day Care participants generally arrive between 7 and 730 a.m The pups that have stayed over for boarding are up and ready for the morning pack walk! Once everyone arrives for the day, we’ll head to Under Armor or take a tour of Fort Avenue for a 1.5 to 2 mile walk.

9:00 AM

By now we are back from the morning pack walk and all pups have enjoyed their breakfast. Those with energy left in the tank are free to play, but after the morning walk and a full belly, most pups are ready for a nap! This is also a great time to receive Uncle Joe’s world famous belly rubs.

rest & nap time

11:00 AM

We hit the road mid-morning to let the dogs check out the trees, grass and squirrels. Usually we’ll head to Latrobe Park. This tinkle walk provides those pups that need to empty themselves out after breakfast that opportunity!

3:00 PM

Leash’em all back up! It’s time for our afternoon pack walk! The pups are usually raring to go after their naps! Usually we’ll head to Fort McHenry or take a tour of Fort Avenue for a 1.5 to 2 mile walk.

5:00 PM

By 5pm, we are back from the afternoon pack walk and all pups have enjoyed their dinner. Once again, those with energy left in the tank are free to play, but with the afternoon walk and a full belly, most pups are ready for another nap! This is also a great time to get a few more of Uncle Joe’s belly rubs in.

9:00 PM

We all venture back out to Latrobe Park around 9pm for another tinkle walk. This is the last potty break before bed time. After that, we’ll lounge around for a bit then snuggle up with each other for the night.

Having a great time at Uncle Joe’s

I mentioned that I like to take pictures of the Dog Fam, right? I promise not to go overboard texting you photos of your pup, but I’ve got to document our adventures somewhere! Check out the Dog Fam Instagram feed to see what we’ve been up to!
