What is the feeding situation?

All dogs are fed separately in kitchen.  I stay in the kitchen with each pup until they have finished their meal.

There are times when I am hired for evening walks.  I will let you know in advance so we can plan on a collection time.
Should I bring my pup's toys?

You can, but just understand that it may be destroyed!  Gasp!

Should I bring my dog's food bowl?

No.  I have bowls I use for the pups I am caring for.

Should I bring my dog's bed?

You can, but just understand that it may either be destroyed or soiled.

Should I bring my dog's crate?

Please discuss this with me, but the answer will usually be yes.

My dog is crate trained, but I don't crate them any more. Will you crate them?

I only crate a dog if it I leave my home, if the dog has been crate trained AND is being destructive towards property or displaying concerning behavior.

If my dog is displaying concerning behavior what do you do?

I monitor manage the behavior of all dogs closely.  Any exciting behavior is managed immediately.  When not under my supervision, I separate pups unruly pups, either in a crate if they are crate trained or in the kitchen.

What are some examples of concerning behaviors?

Excessive growling around toys, excessive mounting, excessive harassment of another dog.

Can I call you to check on my dog?

Absolutely!  I am available for you – feel free to be as interactive with me or any Dog Fam service provider as you wish.

What if my dog doesn't get along with the other dogs?
I conduct meet and greets with every dog I commit to care for prior to the date of the request service.  For boarding or day care, meet and greets are conducted with me and my dogs Jim and Glenn. If for some reason your dog arrives and doesn’t get along with the other dogs, I will separate them from general population either in the kitchen or on the second floor of my home.
